Installing the application

The first installation is not difficult. But since my application is not on the Google Play Store, you may wonder how to install it then. So here is a step-by-step introduction.
This app is not compatible with some phones and software-versions. The application is compatible with Android 7.0 and higher. Make sure that you have an Android-device since iPhone does not allow third-party applications that are not in their Store. (And it costs about 99 euro per year to publish it in it. Google wants 25 euro once, but I do not work (since I am a student), so I have no money (yet)).
You can find your Android version in the settings. Go to About Phone > Software Information > Android Version
Qwotable is an application and is published as an Android Package Kit (apk) file. You can download it on Qwotables GitHub-Page. Just click to download it.
.apk-files can have malware on it. Make sure to install apps only from sources you trust. GitHub is a mostly secure source since the Apps there are open-source, so developers can have a look and help to improve security and functionality.
On your Android device, find the file in the explorer. A dialog will open, asking you, if you want to install the file. Click on yes. Probably, if not already allowed, your device tells you, that the explorer is not allowed to install apps from unknown sources. Perhaps you can see a button, that tells you to go to the settings. Click on it, allow explorer to install apps from unknown sources and try installing the app again.
The access to let Apps install packages from unknown sources is dangerous. Do not give the permission to apps you do not fully trust!
